But the most important change is that the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max now support 6Ghz Wi-Fi 6E. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will  do a near and far speed test with two of the best business class TriBand Wi-Fi 6E AP&#8217;s available <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/store\/catalog\/product_info.php?products_id=644\">EnGenius ECW336<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/store\/catalog\/product_info.php?products_id=644\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"179\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/ECW336-3-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1378\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/store\/catalog\/product_info.php?products_id=655\">Ruckus R760<\/a>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/store\/catalog\/product_info.php?products_id=655\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"179\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/r760-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1379\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">both of these are connected to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/store\/catalog\/product_info.php?products_id=597\">ECS2510FP 2.5G switch<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/store\/catalog\/product_info.php?products_id=597\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"179\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/ecs2510fp-2.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1377\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> I am running them on non overlapping 160Mhz channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will use the USB-C port to do a wired baseline speed test.  I have a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/456N3ZP\"> Cable Creation 2.5G Ethernet to USB Adapter<\/a> connected to the iPhone with a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3POrW9d\">Type C to USB 3.0 USBC Adapter<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First I ran speedtest my xfinity Internet maxes out around 1.4Gbps <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"458\" src=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/iphone15pro_wired-1024x458.png\" alt=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/store\/catalog\/product_info.php?products_id=655\">Ruckus R760<\/a>  getting around the same 1.4 Gbps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/iPhone15pro_r760-300x117.png 300w, https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/iPhone15pro_r760-768x298.png 768w, 580px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then with iPerf I got a maximum of 1.6Gbps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/iphone15pro_r760_near-1024x821.png 1024w, access points if you want full 6E coverage. We are getting close to wired speeds with Wi-Fi and the same or better speeds than a windows laptop.  This will open up lots of new application possibilities and speed up all network operations including streaming, gaming and downloads.  The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.keenansystems.com\/store\/catalog\/product_info.php?products_id=655\">Ruckus R760<\/a> did not have an advantage in this single client test but if there were any interference or a large number of 6Ghz clients I am sure it wound fare better.
